# Organization Settings and Account Management in noou

> Your organization in noou is the shared space where knowledge, interactions, and learning come together. Learn how to set up and manage yours.

Your organization in noou is the central space where knowledge is stored, interactions take place, evidence accumulates, and learning paths are built. Everything in noou happens within the context of an organization — it is the unit that holds your team, your knowledge base, and your activity together.

## Creating or joining an organization

When you sign up for noou, you take one of two paths:

* **Create a new organization** — You set up a fresh space for your team. You become the first member and can invite others to join.
* **Join an existing organization** — You receive access to an organization that someone else has already created. Your activity and access are scoped to that organization.

The organization you belong to determines which knowledge base you interact with, which interactions and evidence you contribute to, and which plan limits apply to your usage.

## Users in your organization

Each plan defines how many users can belong to your organization:

* **Starter** — Up to 3 users
* **Team, Growth, and Enterprise** — Unlimited users

All users within the same organization share the same knowledge base, interact with the same content, and contribute to the same pool of evidence. This shared model is what allows noou to build a collective picture of how knowledge is being used and where it needs to improve.

For a full breakdown of what each plan includes, see the [Plans page](/account/plans).
