Knowledge in noou refers to the organizational content your company has formalized: processes, policies, procedures, product guides, and any other material that captures how your organization works and what people need to know. noou ingests this content, organizes it, and evaluates its quality — making it the foundation of everything else in the platform.
An interaction is a question someone asks or a situation someone describes where they need knowledge to act. Interactions are not casual queries — they are structured inputs that generate traceable evidence. Every interaction tells noou something about whether the right knowledge exists, whether it is understood, and whether it is accessible when needed.
Evidence is what accumulates from interactions over time. Evidence is what transforms individual interactions into organizational insight — making knowledge gaps visible and actionable.
Characterization is noou’s understanding of a specific person: what they know, what they are capable of, and what they need to develop. As a person interacts with noou, their characterization becomes more precise — making the development paths generated for them more relevant.
A learning path in noou is a personalized, evidence-based sequence of development for a specific person. It is not a pre-built course or a role-based curriculum. It is generated from what the evidence shows that person needs — which knowledge to strengthen, which gaps to close, which situations they are likely to encounter. Learning paths are situational and adapt as the evidence evolves.
Performance in noou refers to the connection between knowledge and learning on one side and real business outcomes on the other. The goal of knowledge activation is not learning for its own sake — it is the capability to operate more effectively. Performance makes that connection explicit, linking what people know and have developed to what the organization achieves.
