Performance in noou is not a metrics dashboard. It is the purpose that gives the entire Knowledge → Interaction → Evidence → Characterization → Learning cycle its meaning. Knowledge and learning only create value when they translate into the ability to handle real business situations more effectively. That translation is what noou refers to as performance.

The performance vision

noou is built around a clear direction: connecting knowledge and learning to measurable improvement in how people and organizations resolve the situations that matter to them. This means that every element of the platform — how knowledge is organized, how interactions are structured, how evidence is collected — points toward a single outcome: better performance. This is a vision that shapes how noou is designed, not a dashboard you can open today. The platform is progressively building toward closing the loop between what people learn and what they can do.

How the feedback loop works

The performance cycle closes when learning returns to the knowledge base as new evidence, improving the quality of future interactions and learning paths.
1

Knowledge is applied

A person uses knowledge from noou to navigate a real business situation — a conversation, a decision, a process.
2

The application generates a result

The situation produces an outcome. That outcome reflects how well the available knowledge supported the person in that moment.
3

The result becomes evidence

The outcome is captured as evidence within noou. Patterns in this evidence reveal where knowledge is strong and where it falls short.
4

Evidence improves knowledge, characterization, and learning

The evidence feeds back into the knowledge base, refines characterization, and informs learning paths — making the next interaction better than the last.
This loop is what distinguishes noou from a static knowledge repository. The platform is designed to learn from use, not just to store content.

What’s available now

Performance-related capabilities are in active development. At this stage, the Growth and Enterprise plans include management indicators — a first layer of visibility into how knowledge and learning are functioning within your organization. Specific details on these indicators will be documented as this capability develops.
Management indicators are included in the Growth and Enterprise plans. For a full breakdown of what each plan includes, see the Plans page.
Capabilities such as detailed performance dashboards and advanced analytics are part of noou’s forward roadmap. You can review the current state of development on the Roadmap page.
Performance indicators and dashboards are part of noou’s roadmap and are not yet fully available. This page will be updated as these capabilities become available. Refer to the Roadmap for the current development state.
